Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during the initial consultation?
A member of our team handles the first screening call. They then schedule a discussion with our assessment team, or coordinate an immediate handoff when the team is available. The assessment team typically includes two case managers or oversight-level team members who discuss your needs and our services. This needs-and-service discussion is separate from any formal clinical assessment or treatment provided by appropriately licensed independent practitioners. There is no obligation.
How are engagements structured?
Every engagement is customized to the specific situation. During the initial consultation, you can discuss coordination needs and possible next steps with the Coast team. Ask who would provide each service and how scope, duration, fees, and responsibilities would be agreed before an engagement begins.
Do you accept insurance?
Our case management services are private-pay. However, we can provide documentation that may be submitted to insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We're happy to discuss this during your consultation.
What geographic areas do you serve?
While our offices are based in Beverly Hills and Dallas, we serve families nationwide and internationally. Our case managers travel to meet clients wherever they are, and we provide virtual support as needed. We have extensive experience coordinating support across state lines and internationally.
How quickly can you respond to a crisis situation?
For urgent coordination needs, call our main line to discuss availability and next steps. Coast's enquiry channels are not emergency services. In the U.S., call 911 for immediate danger or a medical emergency; call or text 988 for suicide or mental health crisis support. Outside the U.S., use local emergency or crisis services.
